My Story

When I’m not hanging out at her favorite coffee shop writing, I’m a busy mom. After meeting my own Prince Charming, we started out Happily Ever in the Florida Panhandle. While those early days included romantic sunset walks with sand between our toes, days are now filled car-pooling, dance lessons, and band practice. Yep, you guessed it–Mom-duties. Two daughters keep me moving and grooving–writing on the go, normally with coffee in hand.

It’s scary to admit but I started writing stories long before I ever considered myself a writer. All the way back to short stories in my diary, I’ve been making things up. Those early stories often had a splash of romance and a happy ending. The older I got, the more those stories also included coffee and my faith. Now, with the support of my wonderful husband, (I did say he was my very own Prince Charming), my family and friends, I now bring characters to life on the page for others to read. That diary? It’s buried. Never to see the light of day. But if you see me talking while I’m driving, I might not be on the phone—I might be hashing out a scene. Because with a busy schedule, brainstorming often happens on the go.
